Embodied: an expression of or giving a tangible or visible form to an idea, quality or feeling. –as defined by Oxford Languages
For me, being Embodied is incorporating the whole person, feeling and dealing with all the feelings, and addressing the impact of trauma on the body, mind & spirit.

*This Self Defense Class is focused on the experience of women. I welcome anyone who identifies as a women or femme in any way that is important to you, as well as anyone else who may hold less assigned gender power. This includes all those who self-identify as being oppressed by misogyny. I base my thoughts here on the work of Bear Hebert and Rachel Ricketts
